About EU Accessibility Statements

What must an accessibility statement include?

EN 301 549 vs WCAG
EN 301 549 is the harmonised European standard for ICT accessibility. It incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA for web content but extends requirements to cover software, hardware, and documentation. The EAA references EN 301 549 as the standard to meet.
How often should you update your statement?
Accessibility statements should be reviewed and updated at least annually, and whenever significant changes are made to the website. Regular automated accessibility scanning helps ensure your statement remains accurate.
